I am creating a final project for my master’s degree – it is a case study over inbound marketing.
I am including this case study in conjunction with a firm I have been working with. They are called GriffinWink Advertising, located in Lubbock, Texas. The case study is over the marketing method called “inbound marketing”, which is an interactive marketing tool currently being implemented by firms. I am working with GriffinWink, which is a smaller advertising/marketing firm. GriffinkWink utilizes inbound marketing, but it can often be difficult to do so without going through third parties such as HubSpot – an inbound marketing service that agencies go through to receive help creating campaigns. It is not cheap to do so, as there is a yearly contract fee as well as monthly fees. This makes it really hard for smaller agencies to afford services such as HubSpot – so my case study is designed to determine the best inbound marketing methods for smaller agencies to use in order to successfully create inbound marketing campaigns without going through third parties.
I have included my proposal, which better explains the idea and the point of the paper. I have also included sources I would like used/referenced in the paper, and an overview of what inbound marketing is and what hubspot is.
As far as using GriffinWink in the paper, I just need to be able to refer which methods are the most efficient for them to use for clients. They currently have clients using inbound methods, but I could add things about that later.
In the source I included about Google’s new marketing initiative “Hummingbird” is a great source for what needs to be utilized with inbound marketing – such as the heavier focus on “intent,” and how this algorithm focuses on more liable and related content that the searchers are looking for. I am focusing on this case study to use both the firm I work with and previous cases of inbound marketing to find the best practices – please see the research question in my proposal for the exact research question looking to be answered.
