OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
• To analyse the aptitude and desirability of students on initiating small business in Oman
• To evaluate the effectiveness of delivery systems of entrepreneurial education in schools/colleges
• To study the preferences of students on the teaching and delivery strategies of entrepreneurial education
• To identify a model and strategy for incorporating entrepreneurial education and training in school / college curriculum
5.0 RESEARCH DESIGN
• The study will be descriptive and analytical in nature based on primary data. It is descriptive because it will describe the various socio-economic factors and the variables in the study and present the inferences drawn in factual basis. It is analytical because it studies the cause and effect relationship among the variables included in the study.

6.0 METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION
• Questionnaire method of data collection will be used for collecting data. Data will also be collected through discussion with experts in the field, visiting funding agencies and government bodies and collecting information and also secondary data will be collected through records, journals, magazines, etc. Secondary data will be collected from organisations such as PASMED, SME Advisor, Sharaqah, Tawasul, Injaz Oman, Entrepreneurship Conclave, SME Development Fund and Knowledge Mine alongside Educational and Training institutions.

7.0 INSTRUMENT
• A questionnaire will be developed covering the personal profile of the respondents. Various factors including the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents such as Age, Gender, Programme, Family status, level of study, Income, etc will be included. A questionnaire will be developed with itemised statements under the various dimensions covered in the study. The responses will be collected on a five point scale viz Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree and Strongly Disagree.

8.0 SAMPLE SIZE
• The study will cover 350 students, with 50 samples being drawn from each programme.

• 9.0 SAMPLING METHOD
• The study will adopt Stratified Random sampling method for data collection. Each programme offered at both the educational institutions will be considered as a stratum. Students will be drawn from each programme viz POM, MT, ECE, BECON, CAME, EE and TE. The samples will be selected randomly from each strata (departments) depending on the total number of students enrolled in each programme.

• 10.0 STATISTICAL TOOLS
• Data will be analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Various quantitative tests like ‘t’ test, Anova, Correlation and Regression will be used for arriving at inferences. Data will be analysed qualitatively also based on interviews, observation and personal inferences drawn by the researcher.
