Kitty is four years old. There is strong suspicion that she was sexually abused by her grandfather when he cared for her on a regular basis. The evidence was not certain, but Kitty’s mother was worried enough to agree that her father-in-law would no longer come to their home and that Kitty would never be left alone with him at any family gathering. Kitty has said very little in the nursery but, when she draws, sometimes she does a figure on the paper then scribbles all over it. Today she whispers to you, ‘No more Grandad.’
