Assignment
Write 500 – 600 words reflection on whether you think democracy is a good system for every state. The United States and the western countries promote the idea of democracy to every country engaged with them. What do you think of the manifest destiny policy believing the States as one of the most powerful and influential countries in the world?

An important instrument in a democracy is the rule of law. Without a well-established rule of law, democracy is unable to deliver public goods to people such as security and freedom. A reading is provided to have an understanding of the rule of law from a country with a non-democratic system in place.
