For this report, you will have to answer the following questions:

1. What are the Human Rights violations currently being committed in the territory under the jurisdiction of the state you would like to build your factory/office? These violations can be committed by both state and non-state actors.

2. How would these Human Rights violations affect the company if they were to build their factory/office in this country? Especially focus on matters of safety and security.

3. What domestic actors, both state and non-state, would profit from this factory/office, and how would this impact the Human Rights situation in this country?

4. To what extend would the opening of the factory/office interfere with the Human Rights of the people in that country? Consider first, second and third generation rights, as well as both treaty, charter and customary international law.

5. What Human Rights does the company have the obligation to protect, and what measures would they need to take in order to protect them?

In your analysis, include the following elements:

1. Tools, theories, and concepts discussed during the course.

2. Reference to International Human Rights Law, including treaty, charter and customary international law. Explain why this is relevant in your case.

3. A risk assessment taking into account HR violations and their legal implications.

4. Examples, statistics, case studies etc. to back up your analysis.

Your report needs to consist of:

– Your analysis, in which you answer the 5 questions

– Your conclusion

– A bibliography
