The language UGTU is spoken on the island ULTU. UGTU has two dialects – one on the west coast and one of the east coast. Anna Thomson has collected corpora of the two dialects to look at the relative clauses. She tabulated the results and the table below presents the number of sentences with a relative pronoun and without. By using the Lancaster Log-likelihood calculator (http://ucrel.lancs.ac.uk/llwizard.html), calculate the LL value for the results and comment on their significance (max. 150 words).
