Finally, review your physical/mental state and re-rate it from one to 10, noticing what has changed. Skill-Set Two
1. Think back to your most recent clinical session, if necessary look through your notes or appointment schedules. For any three of these, identify any themes contained within their stories.
2. Now consider a recent less-than-satisfactory clinical encounter with a client/patient: a. Approximately how long did he speak before you interrupted? b. Did you attempt to ascertain the meaning they had ascribed to their particular situation?
3. Repeat Step 2 above for the next three less-than-ideal clinical encounters you come across. Keep a note for later review.
