Information to address within the movie review:
- Title of the movie selected and a brief summary of the Include a description of the disability being addressed.
- Identify the characteristics of the character with the Why are they disabled?
- What stereotypes are reinforced or what myths dispelled about the disability? How did the media portray the character?
- Does the portrayal conflict with what you learned about the disability?
- Discuss the character in terms of the education, the career, the reactions of family and friends, and their own reaction to their disability
- How did the film impact you as a viewer?
- Include at least one video clip (but no more than two) if Include visuals or graphics

The interview may be with any of the following:
If you interview a person with a disability or a family member, ask at least 10 questions. Some suggested questions might include:
- Discuss the challenges
- How do they cope?
- What supports have they received?
- What is their perspective on the disability?
- Any additional questions that give you information
If you interview a professional who regularly works with individuals with disabilities, ask at least 10 questions. Some suggested questions might include:
- What was your training?
- How did you choose this profession?
- What do you provide?
- What do you like about your job? Dislike?
- How do you feel about special education services?
- Any additional questions that give you information
The power point slides will present a summary of your interview. Include insights you gained, things that may have surprised you, challenges and/or weaknesses , what else might you want to know, etc. Be sure to include your own personal reflection at the conclusion of the interview. Include visuals or graphics whenever possible.
