KeepMeMine ID Dudley Zaunbrecher is a regional sales representative for KeepMeMine ID, an insurance and security company headquartered in Fort Smith, Arkansas that protects, monitors, insures, and recovers personal identity. Dudley travels throughout his region meeting with new customers. He wants to use PowerPoint to give a presentation to explain the seriousness of identity theft and how to create strong passwords, and then wrap up by trying to sign up new clients. He has asked you to help him prepare the presentation. Complete the following steps:

1. Open the presentation Identity, located in the PowerPoint2  Case4 folder included with your Data Files, add your name as the subtitle, and then save the presentation as Identity Theft to the drive and folder where you are storing your files. 2. Apply the installed Organic theme, and then change the variant to the fourth variant. 3. On Slide 4 (“What Is a Strong Password?”), insert a picture from Office.com. Use the keyword password, and insert the picture of asterisks in a password box. 4. On Slide 4, animate the bulleted list using the Wipe animation with the From Left effect. 5. Slide 5 (“Creating a Strong Password”) contains four individual text boxes, not the usual bulleted list in one text box. Click the first bulleted item, press and hold the Shift key, click each of the other three items, and then release the Shift key. Apply the entrance animation Appear to the selected text boxes.

6. On Slide 5, select the four animated text boxes, and then modify the Appear animation so that the letters appear one by one. (Hint: Use the Animation group Dialog Box Launcher, and then change the setting in the Animate text box on the Effect tab.) Speed up the effect by changing the delay between letters to 0.1 seconds. 7. On Slide 5, insert the audio clip Password, located in the PowerPoint2  Case4 folder included with your Data Files. Position the sound icon to the right of the slide title so that the centers and right edges of the icon object and the title text object are aligned. Point to the sound icon, and then click the Play button. Listen to the recording and notice how it relates to the bulleted items on the slide. 8. Add bookmarks to the play bar for the sound icon to mark four distinct points in the recording at approximately 9, 15, 19, and 32 seconds to correspond to the four text boxes on the slide. (Hint: Click the sound icon, and then click the AUDIO TOOLS PLAYBACK tab. Point to the sound icon, click the Play button, and then click the Add Bookmark button in the Bookmarks group on the PLAYBACK tab at the appropriate times, or click the play bar at the point where you want to add the bookmark.) 9. Set the animation of the bulleted list to play automatically as the recording hits each bookmark. (Hint: Select each text box, and then use the Trigger button in the Advanced Animation group on the ANIMATIONS tab.)

10. Display Slide 5 in Slide Show view, point to the sound icon, and then click the Play button. Watch as the text in the text boxes animates automatically, one letter at a time, as each bookmark is reached. End the slide show. 11. On Slide 6 (“We Can Help”), insert the picture Logo, located in the PowerPoint2  Case4 folder. 12. Compress all the pictures to 96 ppi, and then compress the media to the lowest quality. 13. Apply the Switch transition to all the slides in the presentation. 14. Save your changes, and then run the slide show.
