According to the syllabus, “Imagine that you have gotten your ICJ degree (we are International Crime and Justice students) and have gone on to your dream job (I am a lawyer). Explain which of the anthropological approaches we have read about and discussed in this course might help you in this work. Use material from at least 4 articles to illustrate your answer. This is basically a question about how, when, and why anthropology is useful in the real world. To answer this you need:
a)to decide what aspects of anthropology you want to consider – its ideas? Its questions/challenges? Its methods? Kinds of data it produces?
b)and then figure out how these approaches might be useful to you in doing your particular job.
