In the first stage of writing development is when children start to learn how to grasp the crayon and scribble. From there they start to use symbols such as shapes and other figures in random places on the paper to convey their meaning. The next step is when they start learning to form letters. Most children start with the letters in their name and then start to add in other letters of the alphabet once those letters have been mastered. In the next step is when children will start to put sounds and symbols together and being able to correctly identify/write the correct letter while identifying the correct letter sound focusing on beginning and end sounds. It is from there they will learn to sound out and spell words and focus on letter spacing while transitioning to being able to write sentences.Comment as you see fit. Min 40 words or more
