Hypothesis Testing Project
Hypothesis Testing Project Part 1
In this part you will search the internet, newspapers, magazines and journals to find a statistic that you would like to run a hypothesis test on. You must include a short description of the statistics and reference where you got the statistic from.
For example:
(1) According to underwear manufacturer Tommy John 45% of Americans admit to wearing their underwear for 2 days or longer. https://tommyjohn.com/blogs/news/underwear-hygiene-study
(2) According to Rasmussen Reports/Pulse Opinion Research as of November 11, 2019 the President’s approval rating is 48%. website: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/trump-approval/
These statistics must be something that you can easily collect data on. You must include the source where you found your statistic. (Be careful where you find your examples from and always look to see if the statistic mentions sample size)
