the normative data may be 40 years old. Do you think interest patterns of

occupational groups and college majors remain essentially the same over that

period? Try to think of two occupations and two college majors that would

remain the same over that time. Think of two of each that might have changed

substantially. How would you study the stability of interest patterns over time?
