a. Observe how a teacher uses notes, e-mails, text messages, web sites or newsletters, telephone calls, meetings, and/or conferences with parents. How does the teacher’s use of these communication methods correspond with ideas from the chapter?
b. Interview a teacher about using notes, e-mails, text messages, web sites or newsletters, telephone calls, meetings, and/or conferences as communication techniques with parents. Which communication methods does the teacher use more? How do the teacher’s comments correspond with ideas from the chapter?
