Domestic violence is a serious matter that affects people every day. This matter often affects
many women many are often not fully aware that this form of abuse is truly is happening to
them. Domestic violence is a pattern of assault and forced behavior including sexual, physical,
and psychological attacks, that are inflicted often by a person that is her/his own partner. It is
common that women are more often the victims of violent abuse. After reviewing cases
regarding women worldwide involves this form of abuse is rising and truly affects woman
worldwide not to mention this form and nature of domestic violence against women. This paper
will discuss domestic violence and this cruel attack against woman worldwide. This topic will
discuss and examine the effect of different forms of domestic violence on women (single) and
married as well as to examine the causes of domestic violence amongst different societies
worldwide. This paper will focus on the physical abuse that women endure on a regular basis
which is unacceptable. I chose this topic because this is a growing problem that affects not only
woman in the United States but woman all over the world.
