Part 3 – Failure Modes
Briefly discuss the main aspects of behaviour of plastics, steel, concrete and wood under normal conditions and under fire conditions.
Identify and discuss the different types of failure modes that can occur within structures.
Discuss the signs of collapse and collapse hazards of different types of construction.
This part of the assignment should not exceed 1500 words.
