1) Must be purely Singapore-centric as reflected in the ‘paper topic’; the paper must be an argumentative essay.
2) Must feature the works (if applicable) of Karl Marx, Theodor Adorno, Pierre Bourdieu, Emile Durkheim, Talcott Parsons, Auguste Comte, Herbert Spencer, Gabriel Almond & Bingham Powell, Kingsley Davis & Wilbert E. Moore, Robert K. Merton, Erving Goffman, and Robert K. Merton, Erving Goffman, and finally Max Weber.
3) Each aforementioned names must have minimum 2 in-text citations and 2 references; all references and bibliography must be from books and journals. Number of sources/references of 30 may be exceeded if needed.
4) Any qualitative and/or quantitative date must come from these two governmental sources of Singapore, https://www.singstat.gov.sg/ and https://www.straitstimes.com/.
5) Essay must not exceed 2500 words; +/- 250 word is fine. Therefore, not exceeding the 2750 words option chosen would be just nice.
6) Will upload relevant information pertaining to Singapore that must be included in the in-text citations references and bibliography.
7) All in-text citations, references and bibliography must be in University of Liverpool’s Harvard Style
