After reading Chapter 3 and specifically focusing on the Classical ideal students will consider the values and concepts of this ideal and whether they are still present in today’s social fabric by answering the following questions:
Do any of the values or concepts that characterize the Classical ideal seem to be a part of today’s social fabric? If so, which ones?
Are there any facets of the Classical ideal that you find problematic? If so, why?
