You probably have found yourself being the target of social media marketing campaigns. Describe the way you have been approached, what temptations you have been offered to get you interested about the product or service? How did you feel about these efforts? If you made a move to accept the offer, what happened? If you already were their customer, did the marketing effort further activate you to buy more or do something else? Describe also those marketing efforts that you did not find inviting enough. What made them not interesting enough? What is your personal relationship to social media services in general? Make a short survey among your own network of friends. You can conduct your survey with e.g. Facebook, email orwww.surveymonkey.com. Are you friends lead users (and in what services) or laggers? Compare your own daily use of social media to that of your friends or colleagues.
