Not all workshop exercises are covered in this portfolio, but it is highly recommended that you complete them all, as they are designed to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the organisational structures, master data and documents integrated into SAP processes. You may find that the first time you work on a section you cannot successfully complete the whole process. It may not be until the end of the section that you realise this. If you are unsuccessful the first time, then repeat the whole section again. There are three reasons for this: Firstly, it is hard to troubleshoot SAP because of the complexity of the underlying process. Secondly, SAP is designed to demonstrate auditable processes, and therefore does not allow data to be deleted. Thirdly, the learning objective is for you to understand how to successfully complete business processes on SAP, and it is therefore important that you complete a whole process successfully. The fact that you may need to repeat a whole section has two implications:- • You need to ensure that you give yourself plenty of time for each section • You may find that the balances and other figures you display on your worksheet are not the same as those that would be displayed if you had only completed transactions once. This will not affect your marks – just make sure you display the balances you see. The objective is to demonstrate one completed process; no marks are deleted for evidence of extra work
