Please discuss, in one or two paragraphs, as many of the contributing factors as you can, that are related to the development of folk music,country music, musical theater & popular music in North America. I am asking only about the “origins” or “beginnings” of these four genres. We will study the development or evolution of them later, when we get to the music of the 20th century. Your answer should include something about the people who came to this country and the specific musical tradition they brought with them. And, you should also include what the music was like and which of the four genres (above) that it influenced.
