Instructions:
“Dear All: First and foremost, carefully watch part 2 of Capitalism. Your papers should be typed in Word format, double-spaced, 12 pt. font, Times New Roman, with one-inch margins. They should be close to two pages in length, but not over (I suggest roughly four paragraphs of about half a page each). Paragraphs should be indented and with no space in between them. You may title these simply Film Response #1 (2, 3, etc.) at the top of the page. The first paragraph should provide a brief summary of the film, while the remaining paragraphs should discuss in greater detail a particular aspect (or aspects) of the film you found interesting. By “discuss” I mean critically engage, make arguments, etc. These are not diary entries…I’m not particularly concerned about how the film made you “feel”, nor am I interested in pure assertions. If you make a claim (and you should be making claims), you need to back it up with some kind of argument. Do NOT use semi-colons.”
