• Preferably policy explored is a local, state or federal policy. A few key points:

o In the event an organizational policy is selected, discuss with instructor and seek approval prior to conducting the analysis.

o In the event the policy selected is a comprehensive, multi-policy piece of legislation; a component or portion of the legislation should be analyzed in lieu of the entire policy.

o Brevity and clarity are key components to successful policy analysis.

o Developing the analysis with identified constituents or stakeholders in mind are key components to successful policy analysis.

o Scholarly paper. APA format, title page is required, references to be included. Title and reference pages are not included in page count.
