Papers should be about 3-4 pages long, double-spaced, and should have a title. Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, like many of her novels, may be understood to be the story of an education. In your view, what does its protagonist, Elizabeth Bennet, finally learn? How does her learning from experience compare with Montaigne’s? Do you find that the kinds and range of experiences in which they are interested differ in any significant way? Do you agree with the lesson of the novel?
