One problem with the pattern word convention is that it can frequently make the English in a sentence sound awkward. For example, the pattern word may be a singular noun that is used in a sentence that requires a plural noun. One solution is to separate the pattern word used as an identifi cation and the representation of the word in the text. This could be done as a pattern such as this: {PatternWord!textual form}. When a pattern such as this is found, the link is made to the pattern word, but it is printed using the alternative form: textual form. Modify the wiki.py program to recognize words using this format.
