Your Campus Area Network As a team, or in subgroups, interview the IT staff at your college and inquire about the physical layout of your campus network (CAN). How many local area networks (LANs) are connected? What is the topology of each LAN? Are all LANs wired, or are some wireless? How are the students in the dorm connected to the network? How many routers/switches/hubs compose the CAN? What network operating system is running the CAN? Ask these and any additional questions that help you zero in on the configuration of your school’s network. Using Microsoft’s Visio or any other drawing program, create a diagram of the CAN. Submit the diagram and a one-page, doublespaced paper that combines the questions asked and the answers received that led to your network diagram
