When you have completed the three days, re-read your journal entries and highlight the text in four different colors, one each for:
• positive-emotion words;
• negative-emotion words;
• insight words and phrase;
• causal words and phrases. Now check:
• whether positive-emotion or negative-emotion words dominate your text;
• how many insight/causal words occur;
• whether or not the number of positive-emotion and insight/causal words and phrases increases, decreases, or stays the same
