New Emerging Technology in Case Management
Directions:
In this Assignment you will propose a new Application “APP” that could be used with your Population of Interest (POI). Start by looking at current health applications and consider what is missing and what would be helpful to your patient population of interest. Then create a proposal for your own. Be creative with this Assignment. Think “outside the box” and dream big. Use the textbook readings and your search for current healthcare APPs to help guide you in this process.
Step 1: Begin this process by researching current applications already available to your POI
Step 2: Create a proposal for a new type of APP that would be helpful to your POI
Step 3: Turn in your idea for the new APP
Assignment Requirements:
The finished Assignment should be a Microsoft PowerPoint slide presentation with speaker’s notes. Be creative; you may use diagrams, charts, pictures on your PPT slides along with text.
Include the following:
- Introduction
- Explanation of proposed APP
- Justification for need of this type of APP
- Proposed uses for the APP
- Accessibility of this APP – how would your POI get access and be able to use this
- Summary
- References
