a. Observe an example of what you believe to be positive leadership shown by a teacher. What was the situation? What did the teacher say and do? What did the children say and do in response? Using ideas from the chapter, why do you believe this was an example of leadership communication?
b. Interview a teacher who shows what you believe to be positive leadership in the classroom. Ask the teacher to share how she goes about establishing leadership at the beginning of the school year.
