You find that the pupils are midsize and responsive, the airway remains patent, peripheral pulses are present, capillary refill is ,2 seconds, the skin is warm and slightly diaphoretic, the blood pressure is 138/86, the heart rate is now 88 beats per minute, and the pulse oximeter reads 96 percent.
