In most cases, reading, understanding and interpreting precedes a translation. As a novel in which important events take place around a library and the books in it, many characters in The Name of the Rose eagerly reveal their attitude towards texts and the knowledge they presume to be contained in them. If the paper has a “Works Cited” section, it will not count toward the required five pages. use only one book: the name of the rose by Umberto Eco and only the first 5 chapters, which is till day 5 in the reading. following guidelines for formatting: one-inch margins, 12 point font, double spaced, no additional spaces between paragraphs, student name on the top corner, page number in the footer.
