The sample data table Hollywood Movies.jmp contains data for all Hollywood movies released in 2011. The data table contains the name of a movie, the amount of money that it made in the United States (Domestic) and in foreign markets (in millions of dollars), the movie genre, and other information.
(a) Create a histogram of the movie genres. What are the levels of this variable? How many of each level are in the data set?
(b) Create a histogram of the domestic gross for each movie. What is the range of values for this variable? What is the average domestic gross of these movies?
(c) Consider the histogram that you created in part (b) for the domestic gross of these movies. You should notice several outliers in the outlier box plot.
