Create a draft of your resume and bring three copies to class for review and feedback. In class, get into groups of three and exchange resumes. Allow silent time for reading and review and encourage students to mark up and write on the drafts they are reviewing. Then spend some time in the small groups discussing each resume. Be sure to point out particular strengths in each resume and to make clear, specific suggestions for improving each one. If time allows, repeat this process with sample cover letters.
