Attendance:
As you are required to attend all sessions, please discuss any problems with attendance with your course leader or personal tutor.
Each session will start promptly and end at ten minutes to the hour to allow time for classroom changes where necessary. If you are more than 15 minutes late it would be respectful NOT to disturb the lecture unless prior agreement has been made for late admission. A register will be maintained and your attendance will be monitored.
Sharing of information and opinions within the lectures is encouraged but voluntary. Where appropriate, students will be supported to draw up a set of ground rules around meeting The NMC Code: Professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses and midwives (NMC 2015), looking after themselves, confidentiality and respecting each other during the classroom sessions.
Submission of Course Summative Assessment:
It is now a requirement that all written course work is submitted electronically, and you will receive support and guidance related to this during the course. There is also guidance available on the Course Moodle site.
You will receive assessment support throughout the course. The resubmission date for this course will be advised.
